Policies
:
TAX :
Cocoplum is required to charge a sales tax for each
state that has a sales tax. However, should you
purchase your appliances from one of our stores
in a state that does not have a sales tax, such
as New Hampshire, and then have the products moved
to a state that does have a sales tax, such as Vermont,
it is YOUR responsibility to report the products
and pay the tax.
DELIVERY :
Cocoplum offers several different types of delivery.
Pricing is dependent on distance as well as the
size of the order. Because the size of each persons
order, as well as each persons needs, can vary we
feel it is only fair to adjust the price of delivery
accordingly. Transit time is usually two to four
weeks depending on the product and also the availability.
Often times certain items are back-ordered directly
from the manufacturer due to popularity, debugging,
and other factors.
CONNECTIONS :
Refrigerators that have ice-makers and water dispensers
will require that water lines be hooked up. Cocoplum
does not hook up waterlines, thus it is the customer's
responsibility to either do the connections themselves
or have a plumber or independent contractor do the
work. We will be happy to refer you to qualified
people should you need assistance. Gas ranges and
dryers need to be installed by the gas company or
special arrangements can be made to have one of
Cocoplum's gas certified, technicians make the connection.
It is also recommended that any LP conversion kits
be installed by someone who is gas certified. Built
in appliances, such as wall ovens, refrigerators,
wine coolers, dishwashers, ranges, microwaves, often
require special connections that need to be installed
by an independent contractor. Many items have an
anti-tip bracket that need to be installed to prevent
units tipping over and causing harm to the unit
or potentially the customer. These should also be
installed by someone familiar with the function
of an anti-tip bracket.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY :
Cocoplum charges a 15% restocking fee on all items
as well as a 25% restocking fee for built in appliances.
There is, however, a 48 hour grace period from the
initial order placement where no charge will be
applied for a cancellation. Any return must be made
in the first five days from date of delivery and
should be packaged in all of the original packaging.
No exceptions will be made. Upon delivery it is
the customers' responsibility to inspect their new
product. If for any reason there is damage to the
product be assured that all products have at least
a one year warranty and do not need to be returned.
Our service department will be happy to initiate
the warranty. Any parts that need to be ordered
and are in stock will arrive in 1 to 3 days.
UPDATES :
Because model numbers and pricing change so frequently,
Cocoplum Appliances reserves the right to make any
modifications without notice. It is highly recommended
to make all final sales with one of our sales reps
either in person or over the phone. This will also
allow you to learn about any potential rebates that
might exist and other information about the products.

Cocoplum is 100% committed to the privacy of its
customers. Your name, phone number, and any other
information you provide us with is strictly for
our internal use. We do provide cocoplum news letters
